Looking to pick up my first one to start carrying and am looking for opinions on what brands or anything else related. I've been looking at white hat but wanted to see if there was any others I should be checking out

My White Hat belt has served me well for the last 2 years.

I've got a Crossbreed belt and love it. Had my first one about tso years before I gave it to my dad; I was tired of seeing him have cappy belts. I've had my second one going on give years now, and it hasn't lose a step. His is the same way.

Would highly recommend, but of course there are tons of options.

I have an elephant belt from the beltman... I have worn it daily for the last 3-4 years and it still looks like new.

Beltman belts. Buy once, cry once

Had crossbreed. Held up for a couple years. Really liking my magpul belts a lot. Very stiff, made in Texas, and you can swap out the buckle if you want.

I like my alien gear belt. Buy a holster and get a discount on the belt.

For non leather, Wilderness Tactical's 5 stitch Instructor Belts and Frequent Flyer belts can't be beat.

My Beltman belt was given to me by my father and is one of the best gifts I've received since it is worn daily for at least the past six years and has another decade or more for sure.

Saddleback belt. I don't know if the belts have been effected by the price hike or not. But mine is awesome!

Comp-Tac. The kydex reinforced one is legit.

Great customer service too. Lost a backer to one of the buckle screws and they sent me an entire new set when I contacted them. Sent it free of charge and had them in hand 2 days after I called.

Great thanks everyone. I ordered one of the quick ship beltmans. Went without stiffener since the gun is light. We will see how it goes.

My magpul belt is very well made and attractive, but almost too stiff and it hasn't broken in much. It's pretty hard to put on / take off and somewhat uncomfortable

Another vote for the Beltman.

I see the op already bought, but I wanted to throw in Volund gear works. I've had their atlas belt for 5 years and still wear it several times a week. Stiffer, light, and lower profile than the wilderness 5 stitch instructor belt it replaced. The loop velcro is just now starting to get a bit fuzzy, there's no question in my mind I'll just buy another.

I do not like the 2 piece buckles as it thicker. I do not like the 2 piece buckles because if you loose or gain weight the belt may no longer fit.

I've been wearing my aegis belt for about 2 years now. Wade fishing at the coast, wearing it with slacks, or any wear else.

For a "casual wear" belt, I completely agree with the Ares - Aegis belt. You can wear with shorts, pants, on the golf course, etc. I have had mine for almost two years and has not lost any of its rigidity.

For a more rugged look, you have to check out Mean Gene Leather. It uses the same type of buckle, but is made out of high quality leather and doesn't have the look of a traditional "carry belt". Here is a link to the website.

Thanks for that rec. I love my Aegis belt for the infinite adjustment, but sometimes I just want a leather belt.
