These aren't cheap but have become my go to casual pants. They size small so go up in size. I normally wear a 34/30 but wear a 36/32 in GoRuck.

YMMV, but I've never once seen a pair of "tactical pants" that looked remotely like dress pants from anything closer than 50 ft.

I wear dress pants to work and work pants if I'm working outside. Short of a casual business dress code where I can do boots and jeans, haven't found any other solution that doesn't look out of place in one or both situations.

Kuhl Slax are the answer. I wear them to work every day. A bit pricey but well worth it IMO

Rip stop just looks so unappealing to me,

It works great; just don't think think it looks as good for the office compared to khaki material

Maybe we're not looking at the same pants, but on the pants I have it's hardly noticeable. If you're not looking real close you don't see it. And anyone looking that close at my pants has something wrong with them.

I have these in khaki and I think coyote...

ETA: Stupid censoring. They're the Ta****e Pro pants.
I agree about the ripstop being a very subtle look. I have a casual enough office that Tac-lite Pros can fit it with no problem. I much prefer the material over the standard tactical pants by 5.11.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I guess is could of been a touch more specific and gave some kind of indication on what I wanted to spend per pair. I will probably get some of the la police gear stuff that around $30 / pant

You could look into Mountain Khakis. They are pretty sturdy.

I love my Mountain Khakis. I Get a pair as a gift every now and then. Also, Carhartt has either carpenter style pants (with that silly hammer holder loop on the side) or regular style pants at Academy/Cabelas. I dress those up all the time with boots and an IWB holster.

I agree with what some others have said. All the tactical pants I see look"tacti-cool" and stick out like a sore thumb!

I wear Carhartt khakis almost everyday for work, good for warm or cold days and durable enough to run around on jobsites

Tactical Gear has all Vertx 20% off through the end of the week. Good time to get a pair of Deltas for $59 plus free shipping:

For dress pants, the standard khakis from Polo outlet stores have large & deep pockets - best I've found yet for pocket carry if you do your part with an appropriate pocket holster.
