Been fishing Corpus Christi Bay all my life. Today I had to google a fish I caught. Found it to be the Inshore Lizardfish.

We caught a bunch of those one time in glaveston bay, only time I ever caught em.

Cool... never caught one before. Weirdest thing I've ever caught off a dock was a toadfish.

Very cool. Never have seen one either.
Seined a bunch but never caught one on a rod
Caught one on the IWC between Ingleside and Aransas Pass.
Weirdest thing to me is their mouth flattens centrally, like a lizard and they are toothy!
Caught one about twice that big once in Galveston bay fishing for sand trout with dead shrimp.
