Does anyone have any recommendations for a company that can construct a bridge about 50' long and 12' wide near Rio Medina? It needs to be able to support typical ranch equipment. The road part maybe only needs to be about 8' wide but the total width needs to be wider for allowing for fishing or whatever. Something like a covered bridge or a railroad bridge type of thing.

Public or private? Straight span or supporting piles/piers? It would have to be engineered for a contractor to build it.

Not sure that it matters in terms of straight span vs. pillars. Something to discuss.

BrazosDog02 give me a clue who you are. There are not that many Aggies in Rio Medina, and most of them are my relatives.

If you are going across the BMA Canal, all of them I know are constructed of corrugated pipe or concrete boxes covered in dirt. I am guessing this is not what you are doing though.

Austin Bridge and Road, HIS Bridge Builders, Jay-Reese, Road & Bridge Builders, Inc.

All of these are bigger companies and may or may not be interested.

Look up Wakefield Bridge.

Good Ags I believe. Have done work with them in the past and they do small and large scale projects.

Try Meza Equipment out of Helotes, I believe. James Murray is running the San Antonio area stuff.

Most private bridges I have seen in the type of situation you described are flatcar bridges made from old railcars.
If you want something wider than about 9' you would need to use two of them side by side.
