I agree with Eyeguy, get her a Walther CCP in 9mm. Slide operates very easy and shoots where it is pointed. Great concealed carry gun as well.

My wife picked up the CcP and hated how it felt in her hand. Don't "get her" a gun somebody else likes...take her shooting, and buy the gun she likes. Which is what the OP seems to be planning.

My Wife likes her glock 43. I carry one as well and added the +2 magazine extensions on all my magazines and my larger hands fit great on the gun.
