I have a buddy that has a really kickass pair of Sea Turtle boots his cousin made him in Mexico. They aren't the patchwork style...they are whole pieces...they are gorgeous.

But back to the elephant....

I knew an older gentleman in BCS, who is gone now, that hunted Africa extensively in the late 60's and into the 70's. His gun room was furnished and paneled in solid ebony wood. Wet bar was made of solid ebony, bookshelves, everything.

It was funny as hell to listen to him tell stories about customs officials prying open the crates he imported his trophies in to inspect them for contriband and never even noticing what the crates were made out of...

You could still see the nail holes on some of the pieces made into furniture.
