The skeeters in the hood are bad, no? Got eaten alive outside this evening.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I was under the impression you were not to use DEET on your dog. We use an animal specific repellent.
Permethrin 10 from tsc is great stuff.
I mix malathion and permethrin, it works really well. It rained two hours after I sprayed last and three weeks later I have almost no mosquitoes in my yard. If I don't spray, my yard will be infested by mosquitoes that are so big that they could flat foot **** a chicken. I must have the blood type they like, because I'm always the guy that gets eaten up while everyone else is left alone.
Safe for young kids to be in a yard that's been treated?
Let it dry first. Then all good.

I think 4.5oz/gal H2O is the Malathion rate. Double check the label.

I think he is asking if there is a special ratio between those chemicals. What you should do is use the labeled rates of both products in the same tank.

Lodes, the HEB on Wurzbach has Cutter yard spray that you attach to a hose. Earlier today I used a bottle of the stuff on the back yard. For the most part, skeeters gone. They have it at the entrance where the Netflix are along with a $2 off coupon.
I've used permethrin from TSC for years with great results. I spray about once a month and use the hose variety so that I can bathe the entire lawn, side of the house, gutters, etc.
But the malathion/permethrin cocktail sounds interesting. I may give that a go.

Our pest guy said that stuff works, but that you need to treat mosquitos like fleas. One application a week for three weeks to kill the eggs/larve in the grass. One application will show results for a few days, but they'll come back soon after.

The Cutter works. Go mideival on their ass and crank out a whole bottle. As mentioned above, it may take a few applications. Let it dry before releasing the hounds.
