Got to the range yesterday and made a firing video comparing my pistol to the Walther PPX 9mm. I held mine with one hand to demonstrate the lack of muzzle flip even without placing your support hand on the stick magazine.

That thing looks like a vape.

I'd bet we could make a tacticool vape. Only problem is when you used it, it would look like you're putting a gun to your head and people may get a little freaked out.

Just out of curiosity, why did the casing eject from the bottom? Is that by design? Also, I'm a little confused from the first two pics. Is that two different styles of magazines you've made? Or is that two different styles of grip. I'm trying to figure the mags out.

Also, are you able to reach the mag release and slide lock with the thumb of your shooting hand? It appears to be way out of reach. Or is this a "two hands required" kind of gun? Not criticizing. I think it's a cool idea. I'm just trying to understand the operation better.

He mentioned in OP it was two mags, the first one is like the mag on a P90

I guess I'm missing something. I'm certainly not criticizing just curious, (1) is the magazine (either style) missing? (2) if it is, is it just the camera angle that makes it look like the brass is ejecting out of the mag well?

edit:

I guess I'm kind of piggy backing a little off of Hoss' post

Don't think the mag is in there, doesn't look either picture with a mag.

It does look like brass is ejecting from the well but I can't tell for sure.

Yes, it ejected out of the magazine well, but that is not by (intended) design. The magazine release button and slide stop are intended to be operated with the support hand, which are both easily in reach of the thumb.

An old Bridgeport knee mill....brings a tear to my eye. Possibly the greatest machine tool ever built. I remember being told back in the day that this is the only machine tool ever built that could " reproduce" itself. Every component could be machined on this mill with no need for any other type of machine. Thanks for the pic and bringing back a lot of fond old memories.

This is really cool. Seems like you gain a great sight radius and sight tracking should be very easy.

Looks like the perfect gun for every gang member with the one-handed, sideways grip.

Looks great. Is the front sight fixed to the barrel? Looks like it in the video

Aside from the one shot in the video, have you tried operating the gun one handed? I don't just mean shooting it one handed. I mean changing mags, clearing failures, racking the slide, etc.

During force on force training in an active shooter class I took today, I took a shot in my support hand with a sim round. Had it been a real bullet my support hand would've been out of the fight, leaving me to manipulate my weapon with only my strong hand. When I look at your gun it seems like it would be very difficult to manipulate with only one hand. I don't wanna seem critical, but that's a pretty big deal for a fighting gun.
