I got a rifle that has no scope but i want to put one on. The barrel is tapped, ready for a scope base. Can i go get any rifle scope base or do different manufacturers space their holes differently so you have to get their base?

most are model specific. Just google your gun model and "scope base" and you should see what you need quickly.

No they are not. Some are the same but many aren't.
