I'm in the market for a new rangefinder and would really like to get one that I can use on the golf course and in the bow stand. You guys have any recommendations?

I use a Leupold RX-1000i TBR w/ DNA for hunting. It has everything you could ever need from the blind or the bow stand. I've ranged non reflective objects out to 1000 yards. I also have the comparably priced Leupold golf rangefinder that was a gift at this years Valero charity tournament. It works well, but I've never taken it hunting. If I had to chose just one, it would be the RX-1000i.

I've only owned 1 range finder, a Nikon Archer Choice and I am happy with it.

I use the Bushnell tour V2 for hunting and golf and it works really well. The only downside is it's white in color but you could always put camo duct tape over it during hunting season.

I've got the Leupold GX something for golf and it's wonderful on the golf course. It doesnt have angle compensation on it though. I don't really have anything negative to say about it, but I will say Leupold's customer service won a lifelong customer when I had my rangefinder plummet into a creek during a bad storm while attached to my push cart. I called them and told them the story and they asked me to send it in and they'd "see what they could do". About 3 weeks later a brand new one showed up on my door step. I don't have experience with Bushnell customer service, but I probably wont every get a chance to experience it after the wonderful experience I had with Leupold.

His comment section is moderated and posts have to be approved. Dammit. Was going to have fun with that.
