A trip through the steam tunnels through the Corps Dorms.

Cool. Some familiar names on the '05 shout out at 2:03. Redass E2 fish. A real familiar name under dorm five. I always thought that stairway leading up to the bottom of Heldenfels was creepy as hell. They need to explore the rooms under the quad. Neat graffiti in there. Great memories.

Pretty cool. Would have expected to see older grafiti though - '78 or so was the oldest I saw.

The condition of the walls in some places was bad, and the pipe and electrical routing made me cringe.

In the mid 1970s, there was a very unofficial group of students called the BCC (Building Climbers Club). They had the stated purpose of getting on the roof of every building (not necessarily climbing) and exploring every steam tunnel.

When I was there in the late 90's, there was a group (mostly, if not all, Corps) that were known as the "Tunnel Rats". Rumor has it they had mapped out a good portion of the subterranean system. Of course, there was also a rumor that there were sealed up rooms under the Trigon that held the equivalent of the Ark of The Covenant of Aggie treasure from years gone by also. One rumor was that Bevo's hide was tucked away in a trunk down there somewhere just waiting to be discovered.

There used to be a semi hidden website, tamutunnels.netii.net, that had maps and a lot of pictures but it appears that it isn't hosted anymore.

Don't touch the hot bird wires. They give a pretty good zap.

R.I.P. USDA Building indeed.

Only building with enough sense to be built square with the compass.

I worked at the cable company when I was there and spent way more time in the steam tunnels than I cared to. They are overrated, especially in summer.

Are there more videos? This one says "Part 1".

I would like to see if a particular piece of graffiti is still down there. For a friend of course.

Just want to make sure you are okay PEC; and you didn't get quadded or something. That map came down awfully fast.
