Sorry for mentioning Yeti, I know that yall love it so much but I have a question for those of you with a rambler. My gf got me one for my birthday and I have only used it a handful of times. I started noticing that the inside is becoming stained by liquid (usually just have water). I originally just thought it was a water stain that I could wash out but it isnt washing out. Has anyone else had this issue before?

I use mine constantly without any issues. Try some white vinegar and see if that works.

They are stainless. That is some sort of deposit. I too would try vinegar. If that fails, I havn't found anything that bar keeper's friend can't get out.

But I would wait for others to give the OK on it. I don't know how fragile the Rambler is. My sinks work with it well as does glassware.

If you have an old toothbrush, brush the inside with some toothpaste. Either way, try toothpaste.

Good suggestions, but if they don't work, let me know. I know a guy that can hook you up with these things called "Magic Erasers". I don't know if they are really magic, but his name is Mr Clean, so I assume he knows what he's talking about.

I use mine for coffee. I use a cap full of bleach to keep it clean.

I use mine for coffee every day. When it gets dirty I mix a tsp of oxyclean free with hot water and let that soak for a couple of hours. Comes out looking like new every time. It's the same way I clean my home brew kegs

If all else fails, and it must be clean, find a dairy operation...

Though I'm not sure that a yeti cup would hold up to a CIP cycle, but I do think the stain would be gone...

There are coffee detergents for cleaning coffee machines. Might want to try those/at least check to see if the chemical you are using is safe for dishes...

Barman's Friend is great stuff. Carbon Off works if that fails but I think it would be overkill - and it's very expensive.

A old rancher told me one time that the coffee pot at the 6666 hadn't been washed in something like 100 years. My Rambler is keeping tradition alive.

Good point. Yetis don't have the same level of internal polish that most dairy vats, etc have

Do you drink your coffee black? If not, it needs to be washed, daily, unless you just add bourbon/rum/etc

I drink my coffe black and it had a brown tint. I called yeti & they said make a paste with baking soda and water, rub it on the inside and rinse. It worked like a charm

Got one as a gift from the wife and its stayed clean so far. I drink water and coffe mostly from it. Wash it with soap water and sponge each day

People that have a rambler and feel the need to fill it full of ice and then adding cold water.

If your gf isn't keeping your cup clean, it may be time to cut bait. Think of what else will slip over time.

I think she bought the rambler then had someone she knows cut out the A&M & Texas and stick it on there. It's not the exact same proportions as our logo but I like it!!
