Bought the wife a teal 30oz cup. I will vouch for the finish being fairly tough. It was knocked over onto a concrete pool deck and no scratches or chips. I saw it happen from across the pool and figured it would have needed a sticker to hide something, but still looks good.

Saddleback Leather fixed the strap/backpack issue by attaching a D-Ring to the top of their bags. This allows their bag to be carried on the shoulder or converted into a backpack.

No they are made in Mexico. The owners go on missionary trips around the world and they take videos of their products being used by themselves and locals of the region.
The video was in reference on how to use the RTIC soft cooler as a backpack cooler and show how Saddleback utilizes d-rings to allow their packs to be carried on the shoulder or as a backpack.

Regular beer bottles will hit the bottom wires of the basket. You can place the basket where the beer bottles won't hit the bottom wire and they don't really impede with the use of the basket. Or just drink St. Arnold or Modelo as their bottles are shorter.

I actually have two of their "scratch and dent" coolers. I have a 20 and a 45 and to be perfectly honest, I cannot find anything wrong with them. They live up to the hype and hold ice and drinks great.

Seems they are starting to catch up on orders of the SoftPak 30, I just got one much faster than the original delivery date. Ordered on 8/31 (with an estimated shipping date of 10/3) and they shipped it on 9/12. Not too bad at all.
