Yea or nay?
quote:Same issue on mine, '08 Tacoma. Very carefully marked the interference location, and used a very sharp knife to trim if off and bevel the edges. No problem since.
Like mine but occasionally the drivers side mat buckles a little and starts catching on the clutch pedal. Very annoying.
I pull it out, leave it in the sun an hour or so, it flattens out and stays flat for a month or so till it happens again.
If yours is an auto tranny, likely no issue.
PS. Sun, that was when we used to occasionally have sun!

Nay from me.
I had them in my last truck. The drivers side was ok since there was a hook in the floor. The passenger side slid all over the place anytime someone sat in that seat. So either EVERY passenger was fidgity or the mats slid on the carpet. Also the lip thats designed to flow spills out the door caught the door the very first time the door closed and curled up. Never did lay down after that. The single mat for the back only stayed put because it went all the way across. But I felt it was too narrow and didn't extend under the front seats far enough.
For my new F150, i bought the heavy duty rubber mats from Ford. They don't move, they've got deep grooves and will hold plenty of spils/grime, and things that are set on them don't budge!
quote:Carpet? In a truck? What is this carpet you speak of?
I've got them in both farm trucks. Worth it to keep grass and mud off your carpet.
quote:+1 on the Ford mats for F-150 owners. They are half the price of Weathertech. Since they are made of rubber things don't have a tendency to slide on them which is a bonus.

quote:I had the liners in my dodge. Lips on the sides going up the post, and the drain out the door part. I hated them.
I think this has been mentioned before but those that are saying they slide around do you have the mats or liners. The liners I have seen including the ones in my wife's Explorer fit so tight it is impossible for them to slide around even a little.
