If so who do you recommend? Any experience with Neptune?

I've been using Thompson Cigar Co out of Florida.

I've had zero issues with them.

I used to use Thompson but have used Cigars International for many years now. They offer some killer deals fairly often.

Two words......

Serious Cigars.

Serious Cigars out of Houston. Google them, use them, and thank yourself for breaking the "big online" chain. Call in your order, after looking at your selection. Call them with your questions. Knowledgeable staff. The pack your order with CARE, and a humipack for travel. They used to keep track of your purchases for later reference, which I guess they still do.

If you ever have the chance, their shop off of 249 and 1960 has the biggest and baddest humidor I have ever seen. and they pull your orders right off that humidor and pack them personally.

Serious Cigars. Worth it!

Thompson is the worst out there. CI, Holt's, Serious, Famous, Smoke Inn and Corona are all great places to order from.

JR Cigars. Been doing business with them since they were just an 800 number. During the boom they quit accepting new customers. Will always be loyal to them for that.

yeah, good store. Kinda tucked back in by a car wash.

Thompson is missing a few smokes I like, but with their club deal, you get 10% back. I just wait until they offer a $30 off and free shipping to order. About once a year I get a voucher for $250. I use that to buy a box of "nice" cigars (for me, $10+ a stick).

Do these other sites beat that as far as price? I've done limited searching, but from a price standpoint, Thompson has been the best that I've seen.

Thompson pimps average to garbage cigars as their main deal. IMO they are the worst cigar dealer. Any of their high end products are generally way overpriced. So yeah as far as I'm concerned pretty much everyone blows them away. Condition seems to be a problem with cigars I have smoked that shipped from them as well. That may be just like my opinion as far as you're concerned though. Just saying that's the last place I'd order from. I will admit I am a cigar snob though.

Not a "discount" or "bargain" cigar company by any estimation... but have been in business for over 115 years... and Aggie owned.

The only place I buy cigars these days, much like Dury's is the only place I buy guns.
