When I was about 8, dad pulled a gar off the trotline in Lake Mathis. We were in a 14' aluminum boat, and I was sure the thing must have weighed 500 pounds.

Stupid scale only said 22 pounds at the dock, but when you're 8 in a 14 foot boat, it looks lot bigger.
