I know the guy is likely not mentally well and the money situation is almost criminal, but I would love texags to do an interview or make a short film about this guy.

As a side note, where could I buy brown butcher paper? I'm a novice on smoking brisket and I've gone the foil route and gotten the pot roast results

I get 18" pink butcher paper from ABCO in Austin. It's plain paper with no coating of any kind. $69 for a 1000 feet.

Hehehe. I guess that schtick is getting old. As someone pointed out earlier it is amazing that mfbarnes wasn't outed earlier once you go back and read his posts on the various boards. If you read a few of them he makes the world's most interesting man look pretty boring. It's obvious now, but I never really put it together until the famous mfbarnes outing thread a week or so ago.

I get white uncoated butcher paper At Costco for $20. Comes in a freaking huge roll. I wrap my briskets tight with it. Works great
