i think I want a light and a green laser. I think the best one is the surefirex400 ultra green but damn it's expensive (is there a used or scratch and dent market?). This would go on my handgun and be used mostly for the light but the laser would be handy for unconventional shooting positions.


any help y'all could offer would be appreciated.

I ended up getting the surefire for my FN57 but it had the red laser. I have been super happy with it. Light is bright as heck and the battery life is decent.

How do you like the FNX45, I have been trying to decide between it and a traditional 1911.

Ohh gawd I love it. The gun fits me well and I don't have huge hands.

I have a Streamlight TLR-2 laser/light combo and I love it. Mine has a red laser but I believe you can get it in green now as well.

TLR 1 (no laser) or TLR 2 (laser)... Don't get the HL model though. HL will leave you pretty much blind when you cut it off it's so bright

At night my red laser is so bright it doesn't matter. I could put a spot on the water tower by HEB in CS from 1/4-1/2 mile away. During the day the green is nice

Finally had a chance to look at the model number. Mine is a surefire x400 with the red laser.
