Looks kind of big to be your average tick, but it's about the right shape (pic is a bit blurry so it's hard to tell). Does it have 8 legs? I can't tell. I'm pretty sure all ticks have 8 legs.

Looks like it had 8' it was pretty small.

It was in the bathroom and I had the window open earlier today... Guess it's time to demon the inside of my house just to be safe!

Weevil. Had a crap ton of them for a little while when I left a bag of feed in my garage that was cut open. Just get rid of or put up all food sources and they'll disappear. End of the issue.

Ticks are amazingly small. Luckily Lyme disease is extremely rare in Texas.

It looks like a cotton boll weevil to me, but that's the only weevil I'm familiar with. I'd be curious where the OP is located if in fact it is a boll weevil.
