The Pavestone company actually has a fire pit kit that you can get at Home Depot as well but the pit was smaller than I wanted it to be. So I went and got a pit at Bucees and used Pavestone plans to get an idea how much stone I would need. I still under estimated and had to go back. I use liquid nails to glue the stone together. I left a little wiggle room between the stone and pit, so if I really wanted, with the help of another person (maybe two), I could pull the iron pit straight up and move it if I ever leave.
It's going to be a sad day when I have to move and leave this after all the work I did.
