I was just given one by an old relative. She has never fired it and she's had it for several years.

I dry fired it and the trigger pull is unbelievably heavy. I mean like strain to pull it heavy. Are they all like that or is there something wrong with this pistol?

I'm not familiar with this brand at all. I thought they would be made in Czechoslovakia but this one has made in Yugoslavia stamped on it.

Made in Hungary? Is it a 32acp? The 70 is just an 'improved' version of the 50. They were made into the 80s but I thought they were all Chek. Its not an FEG is it?

You right in that something aint right. The 70 is a double action gun.

I think you have an FEG PA 63. That gun was made in 32 for a small amount of time, was single action, and cosmetically similar to a CZ 70. Both are loosely based on the PPK. Some of them are Double/Single but I am pretty certain some are SA only as well.

Where does it say CZ-70?

It says "Cervena Zastava 7,65mm Mod 70" on the left side of the slide. And "made in Yugoslavia" on the right side of the slide. It also has the serial number marked on it in 3 different places.

Yep the top one is it. I'm gonna take it to a gunsmith for them to check it out to see if its safe to shoot.
