Anybody heard of this guy? I listened to the song below on the radio today and he's damn good. Great voice that I'd compare to Jamie Johnson or Brandon Jenkins.

So I go on his website and he's playing next Thursday at Blue Moose Lodge in Houston. I'm not a fan of Washington bars but this place looks sweet. So, that brings up the next question....has anybody been there? I'm gonna hit it up and check him out over a couple beers next week.

That song isn't terrible.

Saw him at the Firehouse a few months back. I think he was opening up for The Damn Quails. He sounded pretty good and I enjoyed the show. Hope he sticks around for a while.

I was at that same show at the Firehouse. I liked his set more than the Damn Quails.

I've only been to the Blue Moose once for their free beer from 9-11 deal and it was cool for the free beer, but around 10 they turn off the lights and start playing club music. Unexpected based on the decor, but not unexpected for Washington.

I'd wager it would be different with a live band. I might try to make it over to that show.

Forgot about this guy. Listened to him a couple years ago and thought he was pretty good. He had a bunch of you tube videos on him playing acoustically that were good stuff.

Guy's music is ok, but his shows are kinda boring....and he's a Grade A ****head away from the music.
