If you haven't already done so, go read lone survivor and service by Marcus Luttrell. Best week of reading I've had in a while. Now, on to Band of Brothers followed by The Pacific.

Our Bush library had him come speak and put the video on YouTube. Great watch.

While Lone Survivor was great, Service was even more impressive to me given that he went back AFTER all that happened the first time. That guy doesn't know the meaning of the word quit.

Absoluting amazing.

As someone said, quit is not in his vocabulary.

That and he tells it straight... and he says multiple times that he is not a hero (which he is the definition of the word).

Just finished American Sniper, and have Lone Survivor waiting for me to start tonight. I have only heard great things about it, so I am pumped!

Awesome book, I finished it about 2 weeks ago and American Sniper a few months before that.

I heard that they are going to make a movie out of the book Lone Survivor. I hope it's as good as the book. Supposed to be coming out late this year or early next year.

Scotty they just released the trailer last week or the week before, it looks awesome.

With The Old Breed is part of the basis for The Pacific.
There's also a few oldies but goodies out there with 30 Seconds Over Tokyo; One Shot, One Kill; and The Things They Carried (more of a reminder of the guilt some people faced surviving and being near those that died in Vietnam).

I prefer this video much more than the Ed Young interview. I have tried watching it when it has been posted in the past and I just can't deal with his style.
