We finished this 22-6mmAI on trued rem700 long action up a couple weeks ago and just got word on load development. He is running the 80 JLK's at 3631fps and stacking them inside a .3" group!! when you build a rifle like this there really isn't a need for a rangefinder out to 400. I thought some of you coyote hunters needed something to drool at. Now to shoot this rifle you pretty much have to hand load or we can make you some loads but the ballistic advantage is clear. With a zero of 350 yards you hold 4.5" low at 200 yards and 8" high at 450 yards. Pretty awesome stuff

sorry I added it the OP but it is a 22-6mmAI. yes it is a barrel burner but will be awesome in the field. If you have 800 rounds of top level accuracy that is 80 rounds a year for 10 years.

Sorry i was wrong it is a Bartlein barrel. 1-8 twist 26" Remington varmint contour.

Swampworks JLK bullets shows the .224 80gr JLK to have a bc of .510


Yes it is fireformed brass. you take 6mm remington brass size it down to accept .224 bullet and fire away. typically brass is made when the old barrel is on it's way out. that way you aren't burning barrel life on your forming loads.
