Has anyone's positive shooting ability actually been used against them in a trial/arrest? Sounds like a wivestail to make bad shots feel better.
In the Zimmerman trial, the prosecutor introduced evidence that Zimmerman had taken a class on self defense law years ago and tried to use that to show his state of mind when he shot Trayvon Martin.
Don't put it past some dumbass prosecutor to try to paint you as some kind of deadly expert gun nut based on your CHL range score when they're fishing for evidence.
DA Craig Watkins (Dallas County) was at the Trayvon Martin rally today and said (and I quote): "What happened in Florida will never happen in Dallas County as long as I am DA.".
Some prosecutors don't care about what the law actually says.
