Thiefery

Not a big fan of Shiner Ruby Redbird or Holiday Cheer. However I will drink one from time to time when they come out. My favorite of theirs is the Shiner Premium. It doesn't taste fruity or disguised, it tastes like beer IMO. For a while I was on a fruit infused beer kick (Abita Strawberry, Shock Top, etc etc) but I've grown tired of that trend and now would just prefer to drink regular ol beer.

shiner is harder to find in seattle than in texas, but mrs gravy came home with the ruby red last week and while at first i wasn't a fan... once it got ice cold and the sun was out (pushing 80 degrees)... it was very tasty

and we ran into the holiday cheer last year as well... very nice

Someone pulled the switcheroo on me once. Found two shiner blacks when I got home instead of the *****ly pear. Rustled my jimmies.

I'm a Shiner nut but I don't like the Ruby Red. Too much bitter grapefruit in it.

Now...the 966...that is good shiite.

Oh yeah, the prickly makes a good homemeade six pack too, the blacks are the best replacement

Drinking a ruby red now on tap. Tastes like fruity bleach. Nasty.

I've had Ruby Red before. It was OK, but not high on my list of Shiner beers.

Now I really dislike Holiday Cheer, Smokehaus, and Black. I'll buy the Family pack specifically for Kosmos Reserve and either use the Black for sausage or just pour it down the drain. Horrible stuff.

Selection isn't real great out here in SE New Mexico, so I drink Bock more often than any other kind of beer, let alone Shiner.

maybe a crazy redhead > a blonde, but that's a risky proposition!

I'd wreck some Santa Fe Nut Brown if I could get it all the time. Happy Camper is legit as well.

I'll look around for it. I know Walgreens (THE liquor store in town) carries some of the Roswell beers.

Cheer is ass

Son bought me a six-pack of RubyRed for Father's Day...and if it hadn't been a gift from him I'd have never finished it. He's home for a few weeks this summer from A&M and I had to drink them since he was around. But ginger nor grapefruit belong in a beer, much less together.
