My add on consisted of me adding a rear Magpul flip up sight and swapping out the Operator CAR stock to a Magpul MOE one. Took the factory tactical muzzle brake off (not sure how a muzzke brake can be tactical, but it is), put the 51T AAC Brakeout on and... BAM I'm done. Just traded for a Burris FF II 3-9 last night that will get me by until I figure out what Zeiss scope I want to go with. The Burris PEPR mount should be in tonight.

Here are my 3 "inferior" AR's; all DPMS. The top one is the "Big Sister" LR-308. The two bottom ones are the "Little Twin Sisters", Oracles that I got on the same day with about 1/2 cash and 1/2 gift certificates.

I've never fired the one on the bottom but if its anything like its twin, it will be just fine.

such a POS and obsolete, this Rock River has wood all over it, an A2 handle on an A4 upper, and 4 extra inches of barrel.

S&W .223 on top, DPMS .308 on bottom

Definitely a POS...

These two are complete junk since they have RRA parts on them.

Here's my 3 Gun rifle. It has won me almost 20 other guns. Everything but the trigger group, muzzle brake, grip, and scope/mount are DPMS parts.

I don't have a good pic of my Rock River, or I would have added that. It's a heavy barrel Varmint A4. I also have a PSA blemished lower and lower build kit on order, so I'm not an elitist...

Finally got my "twins" put together. Black is .223/5.56 and Tan is .22lr



Black is a full PSA build with Bushnell TRS-25 as main optic and Primary Arms 1-4 when I want to reach out and touch something!

Tan is a CMMG .22lr upper and, wait for it, New Frontier Polymer lower!

Well, I'll try to get a picture of my half an AR later. Surplus Arms and Ammo lower with PSA LPK half installed.

I'll let you guys in on a little secret. Arty may be a AR snob, but you leave him alone with his gun and just about anything that attaches to a Picatinny rail, when you come back into the room the gun will be wearing it, no matter how little sense it makes. Also, who the hell puts a 3X9 scope on a Saiga 5.45?

I will post a picture when I finish building it.../get the parts in.

But mine will have a PSA stripped lower, PSA - MOE lower parts kit, and a PSA mid-length upper barrel assembly.

It will also have a RRA BCG and a BCM charging handle.

Not master aggie but if you want opinions I've got one as well on a stag model 6. I absolutely love it. Got the length of pull perfect for my arms length with the adjustable pull. Don't really use the adjustable cheek piece since it was just about right for me out of the box but it functions just as well. Really well made and durable, and just looks plain badass in my opinion. Just remember you need a rifle-length buffer tube, a carbine length one won't work.

Just a run of the mill CMMG bargain bin M4gery. Finally put some rails on the front and a Primary arms 1-4x this weekend. Tossed a flashlight on it for the hell of it (solarforce, I think - one of the ones Shipwreck recommends anyway).

Just need to do something with the trigger. It's pretty stiff, but the rifle just shoots all of the time I want it to.

Here is my junky out of the box Doublestar and a doe that I shot right in the nose with it last year. Upgrades include a Knights Armament rail, a Millet DMS-1 and a PEPR.



Here is my Grendel build. Too many mods to list.




Here is my crummy varmint rig. It is a Frankenstein with a DPMS upper and Doublestar lower. It now sports a Burris 4.5 - 14 x 42 and a PEPR.

How do you like that PA 1-4x?

I like it ashleyshaffer. A tad on the heavy side, but the glass is clear and it's pretty close to a true 1x - close enough that you can easily use it as a quick acquisition reticle.

I need to move it forward a tad on my rifle though - right now it's mounted too far back and it makes accessing the charging handle difficult (i.e. not quick).

I'm easily minute of man at 100 yards (really shooting about a 3" group in semi rapid fire) on 4x. I will probably relocate the scope and then dial it in at 50 yards, but this is not a precision scope, my M4 is not a precision rifle and my reloads are not precision reloads, so I'm pretty happy with the grouping thus far - it will easily take a pig at that range.

My range has a steel setup at 300 meters (320-ish yards) that I'll send a few rounds at for fun and to gauge trajectory as well next weekend.

Basically, for $150 (scope and basic mount), you will not find a better deal. And if you are in the Houston area, apparently Primary Arms is warehoused there and you can pick up and avoid shipping. Unfortunately I learned about this too late, but no big deal.

PA is in Pearland off FM 518 just East of SH 288. If I recall, they are only open M-F 8-5 for pick up so that makes it virtually impossible for me.

I run a PA 1-4 as well. I like it. AS mentioned a bit heavy but glass is clear. The red dot is only useful as night or indoors. I also have been practicing with the front scope cover closed and red dot on and both eyes open for short distance shooting. Sorry, but I forgot the real name if this technique but it works well.

CMMG lower, CMMG 14.5" M4 and pinned Phantom upper. I upgraded to MOE, MTAC 1-4 and Rock River mount. Magazines are genuine OIF survivors; I figure if they brought that marine home, they're good enough to protect me from a steel plate that's 300-500 yards away!
