Its in pretty good shape but its had some custom farm welding done and its in desperate need of new plowshares. It could also use a new cross-shaft. The coulters and tail wheel are OK and function fine.

Any leads on who may sell these parts? My search has landed me at antique tractor sites and a handful of places that I will likely have to call since they have no websites.

Figured you guys might have some tips?

Try n-news.com. They have a newsletter for Ford tractor enthusiasts, and the advertisers in the newsletter include some Dearborn implement parts suppliers. I am working from memory, since I haven't seen the newsletter in 10 years. You might have to subscribe or at least see if you can buy a couple of recent back issues. But, the N series Ford guys usually have leads on Dearborn stuff, and the newsletter is a good place to find contacts.

Ill give them a shot. Guess I figured there would be someone that made all replacement parts for these plows given their build quality. Do people not use turnovers any more?

You don't see many real farmers using moldboard plows any more. Where I live in North Texas (blackland prairie) you see a few guys that use them just to maintain terraces. Deep tilling is generally out of favor, and most deep tilling is done with a disk or chisel plow, if ever. I am not a farmer, so there are probably guys on here that know more than me.

The old modlboard plows are mostly used by gardeners and collectors.

A local farm supply store should know where to get parts. For example, we go to ABC Equipment between College Station and Snook for some of our "outdated" equipment on the research farm. They might be worth giving a call. Ask for Mark. (979) 272-1084

Moldboard parts should be easy to come by since they are still made. I know a few guys in the Midwest that had to use them again because corn residue wasn't breaking down quick enough after several years of no-till production.
