Charging a marine battery

I know next to nothing about charging marine deep cycle batteries. I do know that I have an Everstart Deepcycle 26DC 95 12 volt battery, at 845 cranking amps and 122 amp hours. I also have a Stanley PPRH5 450 Amp Power Station, and a Radioshack 3 Amp Power Supply that an old roommate abandoned (never even looked at the outlets on it, unsure about it).

What I need to do is charge this battery up. What kind of charger do I need, do I currently have one that will work (pretty damn certain I do not), and which specific chargers do yall recommend for this battery? After that is tackled, do yall have any specific suggestions on the charging itself?

Thanks.

Neither one was really designed for charging auto and marine batteries, though they could be used in an emergency.

I'd go get a 2-6 amp variable charger with a float circuit and overcharge protection from walmart or an auto place. They won't cost that much, and won't nuke your battery.

Schumacher is a good brand. As suggested a 2/6 or even a 2/10 would be a good one. Charge it on the high setting for quick charge. Charge it on 2 amp overnight for the best charge.

The selection at my nearest wally world was limited; ended up with one of these http://www.walmart.com/ip/Schumacher-XCS15-15-10-2-Amp-Marine-Battery-Charger/15140196

How do you know it's a "Marine Deep Cycle Battery?"

I know it was repetitive, I just wanted to provide all the information I had. And I know because the battery has it written on it :P

It charged well overnight, so thanks again for the help guys.

It's "marine" in this case because that's what they put on the sticker. Companies will label their batteries "marine" because it has a threaded post terminal....in this case it has both post and threaded. The only thing that may change on a cranking battery from this one is their sticker.

Likewise I bet it's neither cranking or deep cycle but something in the middle.
