Looking for a new CC Holster for my Walther PPK. This is what I am using now and it is ok. Would like something less bulky but want it to still be secure. I carry IWB with an untucked shirt. Current holster is designed to be able to tuck in a shirt but I have never tried it that way. Any suggestions?

On a side note I have really become sold on this little pistol. I like the DA/SA design and have become comfortable carrying safety off with the hammer "decocked". That first DA trigger pull takes a little getting used to but the follow up shots are smooth. I have shot some of the new super compact DA only 9mm's and they are a handful. Guess with practice you would get used to it - and they are little and would be easy to carry.....

Are there any other DA/SA out there that yall would suggest that are smaller or in 9mm?

Thanks for the help.

Don't know of any da/sa .380's that are smaller, but the alloy-framed version of the Sig 232 might be lighter in weight. This is the best .380 out there. Of course if you go to a polymer .380, which won't be a da/sa, you will loose a lot of bulk, and possibly loose some controllability as well, depending on your shooting skills.

Can't immediately think of any da/sa 9mm's that are that small either, but the new SA-only Sig 938 would be similar in size. Pretty pricey right now as they are still scarce. The older S&W 9mm's had a very small version too. I do not think they are made anymore. I think it was called the "Chief's Specail", or something like that.

S&W CS9 looks like a great little gun - thanks for the info. Now I just have to find one I can afford...

CS9 - I think that's the one! Shouldn't be too hard to find on gunbroker, and there are a few FFL's in the B/CS area that can do the transfer quite easily and cheaply.

Be sure to check your PPK's S/N against the recall list! Wife's PPK/S had to go back for correction - seems they had accidental misfire problems with the hammer fall block. Hate to see you end up with a hole thru one cheek or the other - especially considering the configuration in which you are chosing to carry it!

Knew about that. Mine is an INTERARMS from around 1997. I have never found any info on recalls or safety issues with the INTERARMS versions. If anyone knows of any please let me know.
