...in the Houston area? I need a few this weekend and can't find any to buy. I'm willing to buy, rent, or borrow them.

Whatever you have. Any idea where I may be able to buy a call? We had hundereds of them over us last weekend and only got 1. Just trying to get more of them within shooting range while we are duck hunting.

I use a modified specklebelly call works pretty good. Only place I have actually seen a crane call for sale is in Cabelas catalog.

Cole Sorry but the few crane decoys that I was not using have been picked up by buddy of mine for a goose/crane hunt in the morning.

Got some whooping crane decoys, do you think they will work?

Nah...no need for the Whooping Crane decoys. They're so dumb they will come right in on goose decoys. De-li-cious!

Those things are some corn thieving bastages.

We used to use empty Clorox bleach bottles, strips of grey sheets, and dowel rods to make homemade decoys.
