Can hogs blood smell mess up deer hunting?

I have my game camera set up near my feeder and I am catching some deer activity during the day and some hogs during the night (from 11 to 2 in the morning). My questions is... If I go hog hunting one night and shoot a couple hogs with my bow, will the smell of hog blood screw up the deer activity?

I know a deer's nose is sensitive but will hogs blood turn them away from the feeder? If so, how long will it take for the smell to go away and the deer return to the feeder?

Never seen it bother them at all. Deer blood doesn't bother them either. I wouldn't give it a second thought. I'd always heard people say that they would stay away but we had five deer being disassembled several years back and had deer come to within 20 feet of us and just sniff around wondering what was up.

Ive seen a buck hump a dead doe and seen does sniff and even nibble at gut piles. It wont mess up anything.

i'm with sean. you'd think it would, but i too have shot deer, gutted them, got back in the stand and seen other deer near the deer corpse and gutpile without them showing any sign of concern.

if they're willing to get near dead deer/deer guts, i cant imagine hog guts would be any worse.

Define sensitive, I shot my first deer last year at 50 yards while smoking a cigar in the blind and sipping a tiny bit of whiskey, neither of which seemed to bother them.

Shooting deer out of a truck is bad news bears.

Shot two hogs last year and one dropped within 10 yds of the feeder. One old doe kicked him twice while eating corn and a spike tried to hook him

Shot a doe last year towards the end of the season. I'd quit watching my feeder as there was more activity behind me on a game trail that crossed the pipeline I was on. She dropped like a rock, and the other deer perked up, looked over at her, and kept about their business. Really didn't seem to phase them that there had been a loud bang, and their friend was dead before she even hit the ground.

This reminds me, we were sighting in rifles last year and after 20-30 mins of shooting, we
look 30 yards to our left and there are three doe just watching us, not phased a bit until we walked over there.

Thanks guys, That helps out alot! I plan on doing a little bow hunting this Friday and Saturday then going out Sunday night to stick a pig with a 2 blade Rage to see what it does. By the sound of it, I should not have to worry about a thing since the next time I will be bow hunting that stand will be the following weekend.
