Anyone got any suggestions? Everything I try on is just too damn narrow.

TIA

I have a friend with a big head. I never noticed it until a couple of months ago and I got off without a fishing hat. He had a back up and when I put it on it went over the tops of my ears.
He wears Oakley Monster Dogs or something like that.

I have had this problem too.

I have a rather large head too and it can be difficult to find glasses that fit properly. I hate it when they push up against your head really tight.

Right now my best results have been with metal framed Oakleys (Whiskers and Juliets) or my Bolles.

I know the Oakley M-Frames can be quite nice and fit large heads.

Oh and I believe Maui Jim has some wire frame sunglasses which can fit anyones head from large to small.

I have a 7 3/4 hat size and finding good fitting sunglasses has always been a challenge. Rayban 3183s have fit great and recently I got a pair of Costa Jose.

Sawfly combat sunglasses come in three sizes.

Click here for an incredible shotgun demonstration.

SUPERIOR BALLISTICS: High impact system exceeds ANSI Z87.1-2010 and military ballistic impact requirements for spectacles (MIL-PRF-31013, clause 3.5.1.1) and goggles (MIL-DTL-43511D, clause 3.5.10)

FLAWLESS OPTICS: Precision manufactured interchangeable lenses ensure distortion-free vision, full side-impact protection and anti-fog performance.

COMMS-COMPATIBLE ARMS: Lean, extendable arms guarantee the utmost comfort, equipment compatibility and stay-put fit. Thinness ensures hearing protection and headsets work as designed while the overmolded underframe provides shock absorption and grip.

There is a line of sunglasses called "Fathedz" (or something like that) that is specifically made for the cranially-endowed. They did have a website at one time, and you can occasionally find them at Walmart.

I have a large head too (size 8 hat) The only ones that ever really fit me were the oakley radar frames with the large lenses and my current Costa del Mar Fisch

Maui Jim sells A LOT of different styles, I highly suggest them. I have a big head and they have a number of frames I liked a lot and still have 10 years later from when I sold them in college.

Also, Oakley makes an "Asian" fit that is for rounder (i guess bigger) heads

The "Asian fit" is for smaller heads.

Asian fit is for flatter faces, actually.

I have what I consider a "normal" size head (7 1/4) and I just bought a pair of the Costa Zanes. They fit me pretty well, but tight. Don't know that they'd fit someone with a huge melon.

Kaenon Rhinos are the best glasses I've ever had, and I have a 7.5 head. Lots of coverage, wide, and great polarized lenses. They don't stretch.
