How long do you want to ignore this user?
Im from the Wharton county area and set lines all the time in the San Bernard and Colorado rivers. My brother and I were gonna try our luck on the Brazos around the college station area. Does anyone have any ideas on where a good spot to load a small john boat with a 5hp motor. Were going to be primarily setting limb lines and jugs. I have no experience on the Brazos so any advice is greatly appreciated.

Go south to Navasota. Take 105 west. The hwy will cross the Navasota river, and then the Brazos. Pull off on the East side of the Brazos, and launch there. The path to the water is relatively doable. There are some decent fishing holes from there, downstream to the confluence with the Navasota river.
