Hey OB,

I am going to be near Kingsland next week, and wanted to know of some good fishing areas and what kind of fish are popular out there, lures or live bait you've had success with? We will be staying North East of Kingsland right off of the arm of the Colorado River.

Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Boat? Decent bass lake, but I prefer catfishing in the upper lake area.

Yes we have a boat.
Heard theres some guadalupe bass in there and a lot of catfish. Any type of lure/bait youd use?

I grew up in Kingsland. We used to catch a lot of Crappie around the bridge where FM 1431 crosses over the water there at the El Rio convenience store & Llanorado "resort". And there are tons of catfish in Lake LBJ.
