I'm reading that this morning, too.
Other news, Hornady launched their 6.5 Grendel brass and ammo. Should be a nice option, although prices are still on par with AA ammo and AA/Lapua brass. Not a real bargain brass out there yet.
Looks like Leupold is going to launch a new CQ combat sight (CQBSS) 1.1-8 x 26 built on a 34mm tube. It has an illuminated red dot for CQC. Price is rumored to be in the $2600 range, which is completely stupid IMHO. How can this scope be twice as good as a Swarovski, US Optics, Trijicon, or Nightforce? No way, Jose. They're pricing themselves out of the game.
Colt continues to stay about 15 years behind the curve, as usual, and finally is abandoning the duckbill beavertail and going with a full beavertail on some of its pistols. They still don't look as good as an Ed Brown BT. Too fat and not high enough.
