Looks like you are almost ready to get back in the field.
I'm going to miss about half of hunting season this year due to knee surgery on Dec 15. I'm already dreading it

Did you just take a pic off a morgue body, or are you seriously that f'ed up still? I thought surgery was supposed to fix stuff... did you get the operation in Mexico?!?!?!

My foot has been entirely wrapped from the arch down to the big toe (other toes left exposed) for the last 6 weeks. I go in every Friday to get it changed and have x-rays done. So I haven't been able to wash it the entire time. Double bagging my foot with mini-trashbags and duct tape before a shower is almost second nature by now. And the yellow crap is betadiene, a disinfectant.

There was an L-shaped incision made on my toe when they put the hardware in. It was stitched up, but then the pressure around it caused it to form a giant blister. The remnants are the black stuff. It's basically a big scab. The doc actually peeled some of it off today, and the skin is healthy and pink underneath. It just looks horrible.

Is that a purple stamp from a club? Were they properly horrified when you put that dried up monkey paw on the dais to receive the mark? From the looks of those digits, you were probably able to grasp the paper from your billfold and flip the quarter they gave you as change over your toes like a Vegas card sharp. Foot and ankle surgery is flat out awesome. Love scrubbing in on those surgeries. In a few years, ill be the lucky one with the knife.

Yep; run several 5k's, a Half Marathon, and I have a triathlon coming up on 5/28.

Better question is if Shiner Bock is a foot/ankle doc by now or not.

Im relatively new to the OB, and ive only heard brief mention of Log's toe. Im just gonna ask because i dont feel like searching.
