I picked up a new F150 last week and am thinking about putting front seat covers on it. The 2006 I traded in looked like a litter of pups were born on the front seats. I want to keep this from happening again and have been looking at a few options on the net. I want to hear some 1st hand experiences from people who know stuff.

Which should I get, cordura or neoprene (or other fabric) and why?

Do you have leather now? Did you have leather before?

I've had cloth in my truck since 01 and no issues here. A few stains on the carpet, but nothing embarrassing.

My uncle has the Cabelas cordura in his Chevy and loves them. Very easy to install and they fit and look great. They are the ones that lace up the sides for a snug fit.

We've had both, and the wifey's car has neoprene at the moment. I've come to like the neo. better. It has a nicer feel to me, but this of course is a purely subjective evaluation.

I can also say that a good sheepskin cover is more comfortable than either, both summer and winter. When the need arrives, both my daily driver and our weekend car will get sheepskins...

Neoprene is hot as hell... and you're in TX. Check out http://www.marathonseatcovers.com/camo/camo-seat-covers.php

I got a set of Realtree AP cordura

They're waterproof, but since they're cordura they'll wear like iron. I've had them a year and they still look brand new.

Question with Cordoura. What is on the back, seat, side?

If it is cordoura, won't that wear like iron on the leather seat?

Those are the cordura ones I was looking at Chemist. I was also looking at the wet okole neoprene.

edit; wish they had shadow grass
