WOW!

I just killed a couple of those little onikers this weekend (70-90 lbs) which look very similar......we are eathing the ribs tonight. Yummm

I can see why they stink like death......

wow...just wow.

When I was a part time ranch hand during my fifth year, I saw something very similar.

We had a cow die in a creek bed while calving a couple weeks before. I was actually still hunting the creek looking for pigs. Well, I found them.

The cow carcass was actually moving when I saw it aoround the bend in the creek. Suffice it to say I was a little freaked out, but I crept closer and could here grunting and tearing sounds from within the cavity. Sure enough, I could see 3 little sets of pig feet having a field day b/t the ribs.

Shot all three in the cow and let 'em lie. I love wild pork, but I wasn't about to clean those little *******s that day. I wondered how soon their kin would be coming to eat them, too.

I have had a couple of ranchers tell me something similar to the photo.

They have told me that they have approached a dead cow, usually after calving, to find a pig running out the back end.

It is hard to believe unless you are there, but these wild hogs will do some crazy things.
