They're back. I just checked my game camera again and here's what I saw. I bet I had 500 pictures of hogs. This is northeast Texas...

Sadly out of 1,000 pictures I only got a few of bucks...I think my hogs are my problem.

When they are posing for the picture, that is when you know you have a real problem.

Your feeder looks "hog pizz drunk".

You cannot possibly shoot that many. Try some pig specific psychological warefare. Do it at night with a night vision scope. Shoot the biggest Alha male in the spine right at the top of the front sholders rendering him a screaming/squealing, incapacitated mess. When he stops squealing, hit him with a board to make him squeal more. When you are tired of it, finish him off with the loudest gun you have. Then yell a blood curdling wild man yell at the top of your lungs.

Might get them out of the area for a while, might not. But if you had any poachers in the area, they'd probably not come back for sure.


Deer hunting may not be so good for a while either.

If you try this, let us know how it went.

Yea my regular deer rifle isn't going to cut it, I have a buddy with an AR-15 that said he'd come do some shooting.

On a sidenote, how big do yall think this buck is on the far right?

I read an article on the birth control for feral hogs. They said it worked for sure but are doing testing to make sure that it had no transferrable affects that could possibly harm any humans that consume wild hog meat.

Please o Please let there be an OB firing squad for those pigs. It would be awesome. Have 10 or so Texagers hide in a line in the trees and on some kind of signal every just starts shooting their AR's into the general direction of the pigs. Surely you could get 20-30 of them in this fashion.

I might be needing some help soon (firing squad). My uncle has put out some traps recently, but obviously we still have plenty of hogs. I'm gonna sit in the stand this weekend and try to take out the males and anything else. I'll report back soon.
