I talked to Amy @ GT. She said they are sold out but are supposed to get more in by the end of the month. I am going to place an order for one to make sure i get one this month. Not a bad deal

Does GT sell to individuals? Or do you have to be a LEO?

According to the info on their page, they have two different prices, and individual officer price and the FTE price (price w/o FTE tax). Says nothing of a non-LE price.

My email response from GT:

Kramer, that bargain bin purchase spoiled me too. I'm kicking myself for not grabbing two of 'em!

I stumbled on to GT Distributors for the first time last week. Had to get a replacement bulb for a Stinger flashlight.

If you are in the Austin area, this place is worth checking out. Their primary function is LE Supply, but for gun nuts, its a candy store.

BTW, if you have any warrants, you may want to stay away. There are more cops per square foot there than anyplace else I've ever seen.

I'm surprised to know that they sell to the general public. The entire back wall of this place is filled with black rifles/shotguns.

I just picked up one the "Texas edition" DPS Bushmasters from my neighbor last month (he is with the Williamson county Sheriff's dept)and I am completely pleased. Mine is a A2 flatop instead of the A3 though. I was able to get it for $800 and that included a few extra mags, strap, carrying case and he had added GG&G rear flip up sights.
