Best thing about fly fishing is building the flies. I'm actually a pretty go tier(way out of practice....went and bought a new starter kit tonight as I seem to have lost the one I had in HS(I had a honker of a kit to....).


I usually end up catching myself with the rod however...

Fly fishermen > spinning reel/artificial bait fishermen > spinning reel/live bait fishermen > trotliners ........... or so they'd like you to think (until it's time for them to put on a fish fry).

Bow hunters > stalking w/rifle hunters > stand hunters with rifles ......... or so they'd like you to think (until June when they are out of meat).
