I mentioned this one in the Diablo V thread since it's an ARPG... but definitely cut from a different cloth based on what I know about it. I've been waiting for it to go live in early access for a while now. I'm usually not a big early access guy, but I may grab it to hold me over until the Witcher 3 Remastered hits later this month since it's only $20. Up to 8 player drop in/drop out co-op seems really fun to me. Here's the Steam page description:

Dimraeth is a hybrid action RPG blending deliberate Souls-lite combat and deep character progression with crafting and base-building. Explore a handcrafted pixel-art fantasy world alone or with up to seven other players in seamless drop-in/drop-out co-op.

Something that I couldn't quite wrap my head around was the tag "Souls-lite". It came up in a Steam discussion and a developer response was helpful for me:

So I say our combat is souls-lite, not souls-like, but souls-lite is not a tag so the souls like tag the closest we have to communicating below.

The combat is designed with all the same principles of souls-like combat, but its not as difficult as a true souls-like.
Having to learn and avoid enemy attack patterns and highly telegraphed attacks is a must, you will die within a couple hits. Stamina management is present across attacking, dashing, blocking, parryings, etc.
Encounters and especially bosses are designed around estus-like healing flasks that refresh when you rest, and enemies also respawn when you rest.

In that regard the tag sets the expectations more correctly than something like "Hack and Slash", because in that players expect to be able to either mindlessly attack enemies without avoiding attacks, or they expect pure ARPG gameplay destorying hordes of enemies.

The careful pacing of our combat is closer to a souls-like than either of those other options. If that is something you do not like, then it would correctly be a red flag for you.
