For radar, I use RadarScope with a Pro Tier Two plan. I use multiple products to determine where or if hail has fallen somewhere so I can get data before the hail map companies have compiled it and sent it to roofing companies. Then I cross reference with photos and reports from Facebook with cross streets. I can get I for hours beforehand this way and usually get to a place before it even stops raining. lol.
For forecasts, I use EverythingWeather. It is also subscription based and is built and developed by NWS employees. You'll notice much of the data it displays is nicer and cleaner versions of what is output by the NWS. This is the ONLY forecast I trust. I might use Wunderground but it's pretty rare.
As a roofer, I can tell you that putting stock in ANY "future cast" for a radar is foolish.
The image is from AnythingWeather. You can see the NWS outlooks and crucial information is right there in front. These are crucial for me for severe weather. Convective outlooks, etc are priceless for me.
