I have tried everything, going through apps that I don't download many of. Ran various adware, malware products, as well as Google Protect, and found nothing. It opens a site in my browser that is gamex?X.com. The symbols and X are various words. They are all different. This happens when I place the phone on a wireless charging pad.

Can anyone offer a solution?

Back up anything important and then factory reset it.

Does it only happen in Firefox? If so I would just uninstall and reinstall the app. Or go into the settings and reset the app.

No, but it only does when I put it on the charger. Very weird.

I found the problem. Modes and routines in settings, in games, there was play games while charging shown. I deleted it, and it has stopped. Not sure how it got there.

Use Brave instead of Firefox. Never have to deal with website ads or YouTube ads, again.

I use Brave on my PC but don't care for it on the phone. It wouldn't have mattered with this issue. I normally use Duckduckgo browser my phone.
