I mostly stream, but miss popping in a cd and listening to the whole album from start to finish. And some just aren't available on streaming platforms.

Do any of you use a portable cd player in the car that synchs well with a blue tooth adaptor? This is for my old truck, which still has the original stereo but the cd player stopped working years ago.

I've seen some pretty cheap options on Amazon, just wondering if anyone had recommendations. Given the number of break-ins I've had in Houston, I probably don't want to go too expensive or bulky.

Lists four steps. Then dismisses the solution with half the number of steps.

Have to buy the CD player, buy the CD, buy a connection method (Bluetooth transmitter or aux cord), insert the disc, press play, hope it doesn't skip.

All so you can get the exact same auditory experience. CDs were great for their time, but they really suck. At least vinyl has the aesthetic.

This is clearly not bluetooth so ignore the reviews btching that it's not bluetooth. Plug this into your discman's headphone jack and you can use the fm tuner to receive it.

Retro tape feel, has bluetooth and 3.5mm jack. I buy/load albums as FLAC from HDTracks. But ugh, there are other ways to get files...

It scratches the itch of just an album all the way through, button interface and no screen to interact with.
