Catia/3DExperience will make you love just about anything else, and NX isn't terribly far behind it.

My issue with FreeCad is how it handles constraints. It's a little wonky.

I have a U1. Love it. I'm currently on a plane, but will post some four color prints later.

Constraining is the hurdle I'm having trouble clearing. It's clear as the Brazos.

The issues I've run into with that seems to be from "implied" constraints when creating the geometry. Like when drawing a circle, if there's a dotted line to some other geometry point, that means there's going to be a constraint, but the thing that keeps screwing me up is that FreeCAD does a really, REALLY crappy job of displaying active constraints. So sometimes I'll just draw the item out in space then click and drag it closer before applying constraints. Screwy as all get out, but it (usually) works.
