Anybody into sim racing on console or PC? I've been thinking of trying it out with Gran Turismo on PS5 with a Logitech wheel and pedals. Just curious how much fun it is or does it collect dust?

I'm probably not much help here, but I looked into this a bit for my kid that wanted to play Gran Turismo and Formula1 on the Xbox. He had the Xbox steering wheel and pedals. We got him this sim racing seat:

At the time it was $250. Its much more now it looks like, but I would assume you could get the same quality for around 250 now. If your going to do this, this is a good intro seat I would think. We are pretty happy with it. The thing is that it didnt accept the mounting for the xbox steering wheel. So I had to get creative with mounting, but it looks like it would mount just about any other common wheel in the market place.
My son has really enjoyed it and is bugging me for a new upgraded wheel now. Its something fun and if you have interest in it now, you probably wouldnt lose too much interest and let it collect dust. The seat takes up a bit of space if that will be an issue.

Let me ask my kid, got him a basic rig and formula one steering wheel….he uses it on his oculus.

I recently got into sim racing. Picked up a Moza set last year and a rig from NextLevelRacing for pretty cheap. I've been doing iRacing between GT3 and F4 recently. It's been really fun. I do have a Quest 3 and using that with the rig is incredibly immersive, but my 2070 was holding me back. I use a 50" TV attached to the rig that I play on.

I've been parting out my rig as I just didn't have time to use it enough. High end equipment if anyone is interested...I've only sold the chassis and seat so far.
