Is there an easy way to split a model and put a "joint" in it so you can assemble it after the fact by sliding them together? I'm a total rook when it comes to 3D modeling, and I've only really used meshmixer with any success. I have access to Fusion, but that feels like a doctorate level class and I'm in remedial math over here.

I know Bambu Slicer and Prusa Slicer both have built in tools for creating dovetail joints for large prints. I'm sure the other major slicers to as well.

There are a ton of other videos on youtube. Just search "dovetail joints for 3d prints (insert modeling software of choice)"

I'd just use the built in tools in your slicer. I used the Bambu slicer to split things and you get a bunch of options on how - dovetail, pins, etc. It also defaults with .1mm of clearance so very little extra work after it comes off the printer.
