Never played this series, but curious to check it out now.

Forza coming to PS is a big deal, their first true tentpole home grown franchise. Rumors are suggesting the master chief collection is next

There's no VR on the PC version, which is incredibly stupid for any racing game made this decade.

It'd be nice of them, but I doubt they're interested in saving the Xbox.

They do. MLB The Show has been on GamePass day 1 for the past 3 years.

Death Stranding came out a few months ago on Xbox.

Right. It's not about saving the competition... these guys are all just trying to figure out how to make big time $ with their software.

From a corporate level it's a real struggle I'm sure. A lot of us here want these big epic traditional video games... but it's a difficult investment when you see mobile game like Candy Crush making an obscene amount of money. It's dwarfing anything MS or Sony can pull from God of War or Forza.

I'm all for MS & Sony doing whatever they need to keep the industry going strong.

Part is the issue these days is that it only takes one mistake to destroy a studio these day with how expensive games are these days.

The thing is, it's not mistakes, it's choices and compromises. Between shoddy QA and the joys of companies like Sweet Baby Inc, the gaming studios need to right their ships.

And tekken is on xbox now too (don't think gamepass though).

Pretty sure Tekken has been on Xbox for a while... it's not a Sony property although it's always been a legacy/staple on Playstation going back to the 90's.

But it does bring up another point... Sony has paid good money to keep 3rd party games like Final Fantasy off the Xbox platform. The recent WuKong & Silent Hill games are other examples that Sony has paid to keep off Xbox, at least for a little while.

I'm guessing it's a practice we will see less of going forward. Neither PS5 nor Xbox Series sold as well as the previous gen.... both companies need to move more software as opposed to restricting access.

PS5 is up 7% in the US over PS4, and that's at a much higher selling price. The only area PS5 is down in is the EU, which is in a recession, and even then the PS5 is almost identical to PS4 sales LTD launch aligned.

I don't think Sony needs to do anything to change their current strategy, but Microsoft's collapsing Xbox sales numbers in addition to them going third party probably lessens the need for Sony to pay for exclusivity deals....I agree with that

So far it's good but not crazy
